Professor Jennifer Martin

Professor Jennifer Martin (FRACP, PhD) is a practicing general physician and clinical pharmacologist for the Hunter New England Local Health District and Chair of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Newcastle. She holds an MA in politics and economics from Oxford University, a basic science PhD from Monash University and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. She is President of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Board of Directors, elected Councillor for the University of Newcastle and elected Councillor on the NSW Council of Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is the Editor of the ASPET-BPS Journal called Pharmacology Research and Perspectives.
