Ms Jashelle Caga-Meller

Jashelle Caga-Meller is Deputy Editor of The Lancet Regional Health – Western Pacific, based in Sydney, Australia. Jashelle completed her Masters degree and clinical training in Health Psychology and primarily worked with people diagnosed with both mental and physical health conditions. She was awarded a NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship to undertake her PhD (Medicine) on neuropsychiatric symptoms in neurodegenerative diseases at the University of Sydney. Prior to joining the Lancet Group, she worked as a Health Psychologist and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Sydney. Her research focused on biopsychosocial factors relevant to the diagnosis and clinical management of neuropsychiatric symptoms in motor neurone disease.
