Megan Howe

Megan Howe is the Former Editor of Public Health Research & Practice (PHRP), an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Sax Institute. PHRP, which has a strong focus on the connection between research, policy and practice, is ranked the No 1. journal in Australia for health policy, as well as in the field of public health, environmental and occupational health (Scimago Journal Rankings, 2022). Megan has been a journalist and editor for more than 30 years, specialising in medical publishing and communications for most of that time. She has worked for medical publications in the UK and Australia, including as Editor of Australia’s leading GP publication, Australian Doctor. She has a BA (Communications) from UTS and is currently completing a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Newcastle.
